Drinking water testing of the water supply to the building
100.00 CHF
This analysis package provides an overview of the microbiological hygiene of your drinking water provided by the water supplier within the distribution network, based on the requirements of the Swiss Drinking Water Ordinance (TBDV):
The total microbial count (also known as aerobic, mesophilic microorganisms) gives insight into the general bacterial load of the water. According to the TBDV, this parameter is examined within the distribution system up to the building inlet but is also a relevant indicator for evaluating water quality within domestic installations up to the tap.
Enterococci and Escherichia coli are indicator organisms that signal microbial contamination and must not be present in drinking water in accordance with the TBDV.
Note: Additional chemical and physical parameters for assessing drinking water quality—such as sensory inspection for turbidity, color, and odor, as well as testing for pH, water hardness, nitrate, heavy metals like lead, or metals like copper and iron (indicative of corrosion), pesticide residues, or PFAS—can be found under “Chemical and Physical Water Quality Analysis“.
