Water Samples: Glyphosate and AMPA Detection

The analysis package “Glyphosate and AMPA” enables the detection of Glyphosate, a widely used herbicide, and its degradation product AMPA in water samples. Glyphosate (also known as the popular weed killer “Roundup”) is used to control or eliminate unwanted plants and can accumulate in water bodies, impacting the environment and health. Aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA), the primary degradation product of Glyphosate, is significantly more stable than Glyphosate and is therefore also an indicator of Glyphosate application.
